Summary: Biggest Mac software disappointment ever - $150 down the drain
Comment: I bought Spore Creature Creator and Spore as soon as they were available. At first, I loved them both and played frequently. Then patch 1.1 for the Mac was released. I installed it and was told to reinstall the software. I did. Then upon launch was told to install the patch. I did again and again it prompted me to reinstall from the disc. I went through this procedure with both programs on both my Macs and got the same thing. Fine I thought, I won't install the patch. Then I got Creepy & Cute from a friend as a gift - upon starting it looks as if it is installing patches, but then it stopped and said I would need to reinstall the software from the disc!!!! EA support is the worse so there is no way to get direct help for the problem.
I'm fed up. The game is no longer fun, these hassles have ruined my initial appreciation and now I can't even install the purchased add-on pack. I am furious. Together these purchases came to about $150 and I can't play them. If there is a class action lawsuit sign me up. Or better yet, perhaps I'll look into starting one.

Summary: Full Version Rocks Over the Demo
Comment: I sat down to take a quick look at the game, the full version not the demo which had before given me problems installing, and I didn't get up for two hours. I was hooked. It is fun by itself to create creature after creature to see what sort of thing you can come up with, and it is great as an addition to SPORE to have all those extra parts to worry with. It is $10, and really if you can't blow $10 to have a bit of fun and to add more items to a galatic hit like Spore, then you're in trouble.
I highly recommend Spore: Creature Creator as a great little time waster to play with by itself or as a great addition to the Spore game so that you have over 200 additional parts to put on your creatures. I had a blast creating with this, and I'm sure most will too.

Comment: Spore page said many people who buy spore also buy Creature Creator. If you get Spore this is a waste of $10. By itself it's cute, but gets old fast. Spore contains the same creator.
